President Obama is coming to NYC this Monday, May 13th to attend a fundraiser. This is his first trip to the city since the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The climate justice movement is uniting to greet him with a clear message: we want a clean energy future, not dirty-energy pipelines such as Spectra and Keystone XL. We are joining with Sane Energy Project, 350.org, OccupyThePipeline, Coalition Against the Rockaway Pipeline (CARP) and many others. We will gather in Bryant Park starting at 5, begin to march at 5:45, and rally in front of the Waldorf Astoria at 6:30. If you can, please wear yellow and orange to demonstrate your support for a clean energy future. Details below as well as other suggestions to make a strong visual impact. Please help spread the word by inviting friends and family, emailing and posting to social media. We hope to see you there!
